Afternoon Tea Week Success!


From 11th-17th August 2025, we celebrated Afternoon Tea Week in style at the Boot & Shoe, and we're thrilled to report it was an absolute triumph!


There's something wonderfully British about afternoon tea, isn't there? The delicate sandwiches, the freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, the selection of beautiful cakes and pastries - all served with perfectly brewed tea. It's a tradition we're proud to uphold, and judging by your response, you love it just as much as we do!


Throughout the week, we served numerous afternoon teas to delighted guests who came to enjoy this quintessentially English experience. Whether you were celebrating a special occasion, catching up with friends, or simply treating yourself, we hope your afternoon tea was everything you hoped for and more.
