In the spirit of Race Across the World, Pendleside Hospice has sought out local adventurers to take on a brand new event for 2025- Race Across Pendle, whilst raising vital funds to care for people in Burnley & Pendle.

Zoe's story:

We are taking part in the Race Across Pendle on 11th-12th July and need your help!

Pendleside exists to promote and enhance quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers; by delivering specialist and holistic palliative care, which addresses their individually assessed physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

Pendleside currently costs £6.1 million per year to run and only receives around 20% funding, therefore heavily relies on charitable donations and sponsorship raised by fantastic supporters.
