£463 Raised for Rossendale Radio: Our Night with Rocketsmith Was One to Remember

Waterfoot, Rossendale, Lancashire

Well. What a night that was.

We opened the doors for a proper live rock night in aid of our lovely friends at Rossendale Radio - with the brilliant Rocketsmith. We asked you all to come and give what you could to a very worthy cause.


The result: £463 raised

By the end of the evening, you'd collectively raised a genuinely brilliant £463 for Rossendale Radio. Every bit goes straight back into keeping our volunteer-led local station on the air, championing our businesses and keeping the valley connected. So from us, and from the Rossendale Radio team, an enormous thank you.


Rocketsmith absolutely delivered

As if we needed telling but Rocketsmith were, in a word, phenomenal. A proper live rock set, they've definitely gained themselves some brand-new fans in Waterfoot and we can't wait to see what they do next. If you were there, you'll know exactly what we mean. Their message afterwards summed it up nicely: “What a great night! Thanks to all involved.” No mate — thank you.



Congratulations to Isobel

A big shout-out too to Isobel, who took home the £100 Boot & Shoe voucher on the night. Isobel, we're properly chuffed for you and we can't wait to have you back to spend it on something delicious. Her words afterwards: “It was a fab night… your staff were brilliant, thank you so much.”
