It's Lancashire Day, and here at the Boot & Shoe, we couldn't let this special occasion pass without celebrating our county in the best way we know how - with exceptional food that pays homage to our Lancashire heritage!
A Lancashire Classic, Reimagined
Lancashire hotpot is one of those dishes that defines our region. It's comfort food at its absolute finest - the kind of meal that has warmed Lancashire families for generations. But we wanted to do something a bit special for Lancashire Day, so our chefs have created a show-stopping version that honours tradition while adding some creative flair.
Our Lamb Shoulder and Chestnut Hotpot
Picture this: tender lamb shoulder that's been slow-cooked until it practically melts on your fork, combined with sweet chestnuts that bring a wonderful earthy richness to the dish.
